I have returned to the studio after a period of ill health with these blossom paintings. It has been an unusually lovely Spring and I have enjoyed trying to capture the fleeting blossom in our orchard, first the perry pear trees and then the apple blossom. Working quickly from observation is a therapeutic activity.
I also want to update and clarify my current situation with regard to future exhibitions and selling my work. Art First, the gallery in London which has represented me for most of my career, no longer has an exhibiting space but I am still associated with Clare Cooper in her new role as an art consultant. The Campden Gallery at Chipping Campden (www.campdengallery.co.uk) holds a selection of my paintings which can be seen on their website. In the distant future is a solo exhibition at Southampton City Art Gallery around the theme of the relationship between the great port and the pastoral Isle of Wight of my childhood.

Not all of them are currently available and I do need to remove sold works and add new ones and will try to do this as soon as I can.
